Design Language
The Fulwin T10 adopts the signature design language of Chery's Fulwin new energy range. The front fascia features the "Listening to the Wind" rhythmic grille with a borderless semi-closed design, highlighted by vertical hollow slats, a lower trapezoidal air intake, and aggressively styled air curtains flanking the front bumper. The side profile is sculpted by the sweeping "Kunpeng Wings" shoulder line, complemented by gloss black finishes on the wing mirrors, roof, and A-, B-, C-, and D-pillars. At the rear, full-width smoked LED taillights integrated with a central chrome accent strip enhance its upscale and premium stance. In terms of dimensions, the SUV measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,712 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Inside, the wraparound cockpit is anchored by a dual-screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. It features a flat-bottom steering wheel and an electronic steering column gear shifter. The centre console integrates a 50W wireless smartphone charging pad, cup holders, drive mode selector dial, and touch controls. The steering wheel badge has transitioned from "CHERY" to "FULWIN", underscoring the distinct sub-brand identity of the Fulwin series.
Powertrain and Performance
The Fulwin T10 is powered by Chery's Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM system. The powertrain pairs a 5th-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI dedicated hybrid engine with electric motors. The petrol engine delivers 115 kW (approx. 156 PS) and 220 Nm of torque, boasting a thermal efficiency of ≥44.5%. The 2WD version features dual motors delivering a combined system output of 280 kW (approx. 381 PS) and 610 Nm of torque; the 4WD Flagship Edition features a tri-motor setup pushing out 455 kW (approx. 619 PS) and 920 Nm of torque. Power is channelled through a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 8.8 seconds for the 2WD model and 4.9 seconds for the 4WD variant. Energy is stored in a 34.46 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack (CATL M3P cells). Under CLTC testing, pure electric range is rated at 210 km for the 2WD model and 200 km for the 4WD version. The overall WLTC cruising range exceeds 1,400 km. In depleted battery state, WLTC fuel consumption is rated at 5.75 L/100 km for the 2WD and 6.7 L/100 km for the 4WD, with real-world tests dipping to just above 4 L/100 km. Via DC fast charging, a 30% to 80% top-up takes approximately 18 to 25 minutes. The vehicle also supports a 6.6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) external power output.
In July 2024, the Fulwin T10 set a Guinness World Record for the "Longest distance driven by a plug-in hybrid SUV on a full tank and full charge without refuelling/recharging" by covering 2,169.641 km, surpassing the previous record by over 356 km. In March 2025, its Kunpeng Super Hybrid 3DHT powertrain was honoured as one of the "World's Top Ten Hybrid Systems".
Chassis and Handling
Underneath, the Fulwin T10 features a front MacPherson strut (with anti-roll bar) and rear multi-link independent suspension setup (with anti-roll bar). It comes standard across the board with a CDC "magnetic levitation" adaptive suspension system, which scans road surfaces in real time and adjusts damper stiffness within milliseconds, achieving a flagship-level ride that eliminates front-end lift on acceleration, nose dive under braking, body roll in corners, and cabin jostling over bumps. The suspension provides three selectable modes: Standard, Comfort, and Sport. Steering is managed by a dual-pinion electric power steering (DP-EPS) system. Braking is handled by an Integrated Power Brake (IPB) system. It rides on 245/50 R20 tyres. Test drive reviews highlight the SUV's agile dynamic response through successive corners and slalom tests, offering crisp chassis feedback to steering inputs along with linear, well-weighted steering assist.
Cabin and Equipment
In the smart cabin department, the Fulwin T10 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 automotive-grade chipset as standard across all trims. The flagship model boasts a 24.6-inch seamless curved dual display and a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display. The infotainment system supports online navigation, an intelligent AI voice assistant (four-zone voice recognition), Apple CarPlay/Huawei HiCar connectivity, an app store, and full-vehicle OTA updates. The top-spec variant also adds facial and voiceprint recognition. Depending on the variant, audio is delivered via an 8-speaker setup or a 14-speaker Sony premium sound system. High-spec models feature comfort amenities such as a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable/heated/ventilated/massaging front seats, driver's seat memory, heated second-row seats, a "Queen Co-Pilot" seat (with electric leg rest + massage), a hands-free powered tailgate, an openable panoramic sunroof, acoustic laminated front glass, rear privacy glass, and 256-colour ambient lighting. The cabin incorporates the C-PURE clean-cabin system built with baby-safe materials, complemented by an AQS air quality management system and a smart fragrance diffuser. For luggage capacity, standard boot volume is 717 litres, expanding to 2,021 litres with the rear seats folded flat.
Safety and ADAS
In terms of safety, the Fulwin T10 is engineered in line with global five-star crash safety standards. The body features a rigid cage structure utilising 85% high-strength steel and 21% hot-stamped steel. The B-pillars deliver a tensile strength of 1,500 MPa. Up front, it is fitted with dual aluminium alloy crash beams and 6 energy-absorbing crash boxes. Passive safety is anchored by an all-around 10-airbag system (including driver's knee airbag and second-row side curtain airbags) featuring a 6-second ultra-long pressure retention capability. Battery protection encompasses four layers of defense covering structural integrity, high-voltage safety (tripping within 2 milliseconds post-collision), thermal runaway mitigation, and water ingress prevention, allowing a wading depth of 600 mm.
On the active safety front, the Fulwin T10 is equipped with a Level 2.5 ADAS suite. Highlights include full-speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Speed Limit Assist (SLA), and Intelligent Evasion System (IES). It also comes with 24-hour Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Door Open Warning (DOW), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). In addition, the SUV features a 540° panoramic camera system with a transparent chassis view.
Market Performance and Verdict
The Fulwin T10 has experienced a relatively muted reception since its launch. In 2024, cumulative sales stood at roughly 5,695 units. Between January and June 2025, deliveries reached around 1,203 units, with June recording just 40 units. Cumulative sales over the past six months totalled approximately 4,248 units, ranking 7th in the mid-to-large PHEV SUV segment. Industry analysts point out that despite commanding impressive on-paper specs like a 1,400 km range and low fuel consumption, actual sales have fallen short of expectations. In terms of product merits, core selling points such as the Kunpeng Super Hybrid powertrain, 210 km EV range, over 1,400 km total range, CDC adaptive suspension, 10 airbags, and Level 2.5 ADAS provide the Fulwin T10 with strong differentiated competitiveness in the RM180,000 to RM230,000 mid-to-large PHEV SUV market. Purchase perks include a lifetime vehicle warranty for the first owner, deposit multiplier offers, and trade-in subsidies. Overall, as the flagship of the Fulwin lineup, the T10 demonstrates Chery's technological prowess in hybrid powertrains, range efficiency, and safety protection, though it still faces hurdles in brand equity and fierce market competition.
